On Style, Influence, and What’s Next in Her Career
Jodie Woods has grown up in the spotlight, but along the way she’s developed a style perspective that feels entirely her own. From fashion moments that spark conversation to beauty looks that quickly become inspiration across social media, she’s part of a new generation shaping how young women express themselves through style.

For NAILCON’s Winter 2026 Issue 004 cover, we sat with Jodie during her nail session with celebrity nail artist Jenny Bui, widely known as the “Queen of Bling,” in which she admired her freshly finished nails: “Wait, these are fire. I haven’t had nails this long in I don’t know how long.”

During the session, the conversation touched on the pressure that can come with growing up in the public eye and why personal style remains one of her favorite forms of self expression.
Christina Lane: At just 19 years old, you’re often referenced in fashion spaces online. When did you first realize people were paying attention to the way you dress?
Jodie Woods: Honestly, a long time ago. Maybe like three years ago now. I’ve always loved fashion, but I really started getting into it and trying new looks and just stepping into my confidence and then from there everything just, you know, it flowed.
Christina Lane: You often style yourself. When you’re creating a look, what usually leads the process for you?
Jodie Woods: I think for sure the vibe. It just depends how I’m feeling that day. Some days I dress a little more manly and masculine. It just, it really depends on how I’m feeling.

Christina Lane: All right, people pay close attention to your makeup choices, often recreating your looks step by step. What does it mean to you to be a source of inspiration for others when it comes to beauty?
Jodie Woods: I always love seeing girls recreate my looks and they always look so good. It makes me so happy. It’s honestly empowering. It makes me want to just post more and do even more.
Christina Lane: Do you feel like fashion today leaves enough room for girls your age to experiment and evolve publicly?
Jodie Woods: There’s for sure pressure to have it all figured out with how social media is nowadays, but you can’t let people’s opinions and pressure from the internet change how you feel about your life because at the end of the day it’s the internet. It’s not real and everyone is on their own time. Everyone has their own journey and plan that’s already written. So I feel like the best thing to do is just always be yourself and that’s when the best things happen.
Christina Lane: Being young and visible often blurs the line between your personal life and your public life. How do you protect your sense of self outside of social media?

Jodie Woods: I grew up in a house where we didn’t really care about other people’s opinions or social media too much and I just kept things that I wanted to keep private. I just keep them for myself. You don’t have to post everything or have people involved in everything so that’s why makeup and fashion is an outlet for me to show more of my personality because I don’t like people all in my business, but this year I’m definitely going to show people more of my everyday life.
Christina Lane: As your platform evolves, what kind of projects or spaces are you most interested in stepping into next?
Jodie Woods: I’ve been in a lot of different rooms but this year I just want to tap into the more creative side of myself. I feel like people see that side you know in my makeup and fashion but I would love to be a creative director maybe for a company and honestly I want to be in every room. I just want my foot in the door, you know when it comes to everything. I have so many different passions so I really want to do it all.
